I'm afraid this one really caught my attention today. I confess, I have been having a grumbling problem. There are some school-related issues for the kids that have got me going this year. I'm frustrated. But my grumbling is contagious, so I have to recognize that and set a better example for my children.
What to do?! I can take my grumbling to God for relief, but in front of the kids, I need to do better. Listen to their frustrations. Give them empathy and support. Use the experience as a teaching tool that life is not always fair and people are not perfect. Guide them to God to release their frustrations. This is what we are asked to do in Philippians 2:14.
