How I Deal With Fearful Thoughts And Bring Myself to a Peaceful and Centered State
I really took a message from Jesus Calling to heart yesterday. It was a suggestion to start saying, "I trust You, Jesus" in response to whatever happens to you. I know many of us do trust Jesus, but there is something powerful in saying those words out loud. It literally brings about feelings and peace and helps the fear you are experiencing dissipate.
I also add belly breathing to this. This is so important! When we are under stress we tend to hold our breath and breathe more shallowly ... which causes us to be more stressed, mentally and physically. Belly breathing relieves muscle tension, allows you to think more clearly, calms and centers you, increases oxygen to your cells, and slows your heart rate .... all things you need when you are feeling stressed.
So, those are my tips for today!! Trust and Breathe!
