Grown-Up Girlfriends ... How to Love One Another

Friendships are a gift from God and meant to be treasured, but sometimes things get challenging as we leave our high school years and move into the real world, so I thought I would share a snippet of what a healthy grown-up friendship looks like from Grown-Up Girlfriends by Erin Smalley. 

Four qualities of a grown-up friend:

1. You accept, rather than judge.
2. You express your feelings and encourage your friend to do likewise.
3. You take responsibility for your feelings and never lay guilt trips on your friend for how you feel.
4. You show empathy, compassion and understanding for her feelings.
