This applies to every aspect of your life. Let's look at it from a health and fitness perspective today.
Say you decide you need to lose 10 pounds, so you start a strict diet and exercise regime to do it. But it is hard and you feel like you are depriving yourself and you don't really like it. This is not setting you up for success. If you don't fall in love with the process of doing it, you will encounter resistance and go back to the old way of doing things.
Many of us have experienced this. Luckily there are many, many different types of health and fitness programs out there. You just have to find what works for you.
So, if you are struggling, don't give up. Just try something new.
I believe the reason for my success in finding my ideal weight was for this very reason! I fell in love with doing 30-minute workouts at home, getting it done first thing in the morning (I love that!), and finding a balanced eating plan that is delicious. I have developed a love for eating healthy! I also love getting up early to get my exercise done.
Going to the gym for an hour every day felt like force to me, but 30-minute workouts at home feel like freedom! I love my lifestyle!
