I'm not a huge fan of New Year's Resolutions...I'm not saying they are all bad, but from what I have seen, they usually don't work. But the beginning of a NEW YEAR is a great time to start NEW HABITS...so if you are making a resolution, make it reasonable!
As a life coach I also see New Year's resolutions as an opportunity to put off doing what we should already be doing today.
But I think many of us do that because we set too huge of goals for ourselves and we feel overwhelmed by them. Goals that are unattainable. We put plans in motion that we can't keep up with all year long. Friends, that defeats the purpose and it doesn't have to be like that!
It's the same reason I don't agree with "dieting." Instead we should all be shooting for a healthy lifestyle. We can set out to make some small, but powerful changes that will last us a lifetime.
