Can you overheat healthy food? YES, you can. Autumn Calabrese told a great story on her new Fixate TV show about how one of her personal training clients was working so hard at the gym, but not seeing weight loss results.
So, Autumn and this client went out to lunch. They both ordered the same salad. Autumn ate about half of hers, but she noticed her client ate the whole salad. That's when the lightbulb went off! Her client was overeating and needed help trimming down the portions. Just because it's salad, doesn't make it OK to overeat!
As a result of that lunch, Autumn invented her "Portion Fix" program to help people know how much they should be eating.
In this picture Autumn is showing you the salad serving size from the restaurant in the big bowl -- it comes as an individual portion, but you can see, it is really enough to feed a whole family. The bowl in her right hand is an actual single serving size that would definitely still fill you up!
